TUESDAY EVENINGS...classes cancelled until Fall.
Tuesday seminars are concerned with the Theology and Philosophy behind "healthy" Biblical Spirituality... the Spirituality of Jesus of Nazareth, as presented in the New Testament. It will include Old Testament Spirituality, and the Spirituality of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam. These five Traditions may be called the "World Religions," since they exist on every Continent in the World. At the risk of being over-simplistic, I see a gradual evolution of Spirituality, dependent on Mankind's own evolution on the Spiritual plane. There is a history of Spirituality. Understanding other's Spirituality helps to understand one's own, just a little bit better. This is NOT Bible Study, as such. It is about learning and growing in the ATTITUDES OF JESUS CHRIST... HOPE, JOY, PEACE OF MIND AND SPIRIT, in the midst of chaos. This seminar is the THEORY behind our Beliefs, and the THEORY behind Wednesday night's seminar.

WEDNESDAY EVENINGS...
Wednesday seminars are concerned with Emotional Maturity... the dynamic affects and effects of our FEELINGS. The first hour is dedicated to traditional Emotions Anonymous, and the second hour is concerned with the theory of emotional maturity... "how" to practically understand how fear, anger, depression, etc. influence our daily lives, including our own personal Spirituality, mental and physical health. This seminar concentrates on COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL TECHNIQUES...the gold standard of present self-help aids in MANAGING our emotions. No pre-registration necessary...just come as you are.
These seminars are for the good of all parishioners and friends of Christ Hope Church, and are also open to the public and persons from all Spiritual traditions. There are no fees, and we offer coffee, tea, soda, and baked goods. We encourage all to help with baked goods, when they can. One can attend weekly, or even occasionally, since there are notes given on every subject.
I hope you are able to come. FB
